Why Shameless Women are Amazing

I have had this idea in my mind for a long time, building upon it from girlhood to womanhood.

As Simone de Beauvoir famously wrote, “One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman.” When I became a woman, like so many do, I became privy to the power imbalances between the sexes. It was humiliating and embarrassing to become woman, to become the lesser other.
